MORE THAN 800 ROCK THE HOUSE!The internationally-acclaimed Harlem Ambassadors visited Plentywood for a game at The High School Gymnasium on October 23, 2013 where they competed against our local team of celebrities: The Plentywood Chasers ! Click Here to view pictures of the event. The Ambassadors set themselves apart from other Harlem-style basketball teams by working with local not-for-profit and service organizations and holding Harlem Ambassadors shows as community fundraising events. For Plentywoods event the Ambassadors partnered with The Plentywood Education & Alumni Foundation (PEAF) to help raise funds for a portable computer lab for the High School. It feels good to be able to provide quality entertainment and create memories that the fans will take with them, PEAF Executive Director, Kordelia French explained. Were able to give even more when we can help provide funding for innovative teaching projects for our teachers and students such as a new portable computer lab for the Plentywood High School, and that feels great. A sincere thanks to all who helped make this such a successful event!
